Summer Bishil (born June 15 15, 1985) is an American actress best famous for her character Margo on The Magicians, a Syfy drama series based on a fantasy that ran from 2015 until present. The role she played before as a Lebanese American young woman Jasira who is undergoing an array of struggles with the backdrop to the U.S. war in Iraq was part of Alan Ball's film Towelhead. In 2007, she was selected by Variety as one of 10 actors they wanted to see. The actress also had a dramatic part in the 2009 crime drama Crossing Over. For this, she received a nomination for an Independent Spirit Award under the category of the Best Female Leading. The actress also appeared in co-lead roles and films like Mooz-lum The Last Airbender Pop Star, Under the Silver Lake and a number of television guest parts.
